A little off topic but did you notice the "khanda" carving on top of backside of his chair . It's the same khanda we have today as symbol of sikhism, and we were told nishan sahib then used to have different symbols. This is supposed to be a real portrait of him right 

Also you can almost see a smaller version of kada, like the ones we mostly wear near the cuff of his right hand. 

He's also not sporting a tilak , like how the RSS peeps would like you to believe. He looks just like any other modern day sikh guy .
