That is because our Gurus spoke of things that the people could relate to. In india at that time, there were many hindus, muslims, and some buddhists... few Christians. So that is what Guru sahib spoke of. Our SGGS tells us that Waheguroo has lakhs of prophets, lakhs of servants -- so how can we say that he may not have been one of them?
