But Nazanin is very attractive women in her 40's, definitely eye candy and the time in prison does not seem to have aged her much.

An older, studious-looking gorah got his clammy hands on her. ?

I still think she's linked to the intelligence services, if not directly then an agency connected to them. The white husband may have been her handler; developed an attraction to her, and it got personal. She realised she could climb the social and career ladder with him on her side, and to be fair he fought in her corner valiantly while she was locked up. Iranian Brits, from my experience, are notorious for dating and marrying "out."

I recall on LBC radio, that James o'Brien was lambasting Boris Johnson a few years ago, when BoJo let the cat out of the bag about her being a spy.

She got released when UK paid some debt owed to Iran during the early 70's.

This was pre-Islamic Revolution.

What will the UK need to repay India with in order to release Jaggi?

We know about the policy of spy agencies that if an operative is caught, they're on their own. There's no official recourse even through back channels to extract a spy in trouble because it would put other undercover agents in peril AND there's the risk they'll have been turned. That's the name of the game. Radcliffe's husband played the game, took a risk, and went public: he banked on his missus' status as a POC and a woman to protect himself from internal intelligence backlash. He knew Britain didn't want to categorically go on the record and state Nazanin was a spy for them, but the optics of letting her languish in Iranian custody was negative. I imagine she and her husband have or will get a serious dressing down in private IF they are spies. They've basically cajoled the UK into paying a genuine debt they had no intention of fulfilling. She wasn't even born in Britain, lmao!

Maybe Jaggi should identify as a woman or non-binary, the Western Media will be all over it!

Trans-woman come above women in the victim hierarchy. Being a non-white trans would add some more points.

Why do you have so much resentment towards these groups?

Do you not have enough self-awareness to understand that they same people who moan constantly about women's-rights and trans-rights activism are also very likely to moan about activism focused on some brown guy from an immigrant background who is imprisoned in a third-world country for some reason that they absolutely do not care about?

In that one press conference she's undone any goodwill that people had for her. Hilarious. She's seriously misjudged the atmosphere around her case and the efforts of her husband to paint her in a totally blameless light.

I feel sorry for her husband.

That guy has aged and I do not know what has happened to his face.

Some points in regards to the press conference that Nazanin spoke on and the further commentary:

1 She had a go at the previous Forigin Secretaries for not enabling her release. It should have been done 6 years ago. (Her words)

2 It was seen that she belittled her husband after he did a lot of work and thanked the UK government. If this was the other way  around, there would be uproar

3 She has dual nationality, and she entered Iran on her Iranian passport

4 There were complaints about the UK not paying the 400 million that was owed to Iran. Which could not be paid due to the sanctions

5 She was arrested on spy charges though she went to visit her parents

6 She is now seen as ungrateful in certain quarters

Did she spend most of her 'time' under house arrest at her mothers? She looks refreshed, not like someone whose done some tough time.
