At some stage those Sikhs in India who parrot the propaganda line that Sikhs in India are respected and that they live happy lives without any interference or trouble from the state will wake up and smell the coffee.

I don't like that propaganda line either, it makes me cringe.

some posters on this forum ,  who I guess mostly are from UK need to understand one thing . 

It is not prerogative of indian sikhs to start a khalistani movement. It were you guys who left india for better pastures abroad , and left your mother punjab in hands of bhaiyye , shiv sena , and christian missionaries .

so if you're so concerned about state of affairs of panth, come back to punjab and do ground work 

AND I know it hurts to see such videos of police barbarity, but trust me guys such kind of rogue police behavior is common in BIMARU (sick) states (Bihar, Madhya pradesh, rajasthan and UP)

they would do same behavior with hindu people as well. its not just sikhs . The other day I saw on news , MP police was hitting some poor people with sticks mercilessly. so this is basically how it is in those wild states

No one is asking Sikhs in India to take up arms and start Khalistan movement. What diaspora Sikhs want is that Sikhs in India at least acknowledge that they have 2nd class status in India and that this has to change. When diaspora tweet or post on facebook about these kind of atrocities on Sikhs, then you are guaranteed that some Sikhs from India will accuse the poster of 'hating' and being an ISI operative or a Pakistani i disguise. 

Another thing  I can't stand is those idio.t Sikhs in India who have the Indian flag on their profiles. This is the same flag under which our people were massacred in Durbar Sahib and this is the same flag that the criminal Indian army raised on top of the compex to show that they had won in their war against the Sikhs.
