Hemkund Sahib to open on September 4th

Uttarakhand : Hemkund Sahib Yatra, starting on September 4, will run till October 10 this time. In view of COVID-19 infection, only 100 pilgrims will be allowed to go to Hemkund Sahib in a day.

This year the devotees will not be able to avail helicopter service and palanquin service this year. But the devotees coming on the journey from Ghangharia to Hemkund will surely enjoy the beautiful view of nature. These days, Uttarakhand's flower Brahmakamal blooms on the route from Ghangharia to Hemkund Sahib. Tourist will get a chance to see these flowers. The gurudwara manager Sewa Singh said that "On September 3, Panch will leave from Govindghat for Hemkund Sahib. The decision has been taken due to the pandemic".
