I have a feeling that some of these types are doing this because they feel resentment at having been compelled to reign in their promiscuous behaviour when growing up in a relatively conservative Sikh/Panjabi household. This is how they are seeking revenge in adulthood.

I've always felt that modern feminism is a big joke, where goray men have conned some dimwitted women into thinking that acting promiscuously is some form of female 'liberation'. You couldn't make it up.....

What's really sad is that the behaviour sort of reinforces negative stereotypes, that apneean really need to get away from.

They don't necessarily come from conservative traditional families. Like a while back there was a video going around of a punjabi female on her birthday and her birthday cake was in the shape of a giant brown pen1s, and all the aunties sitting around the table were laughing their heads off and clapping.

My cousin in Canada is in a live in relationship, his girlfriend lives with the family and his ex girlfriend also used to live with them.

A lot of families are very supportive of this behaviour.

I think people need to realise that the traditional punjabi family is in decline, traditional families are fast becoming extinct, and a lot of families actually support their daughters/sons behaving like this.

Thinking that pubjabi families are still traditional and that their kids are rebellious is quite an outdated view! Many many "traditional" families have no problem with this behaviour!

A lot of mothers go clubbing with their daughters and get p1ssed on weekends!

No need to apologize to anyone. Its a forum for you to speak your mind. Its very obvious what you said was just an emotional reaction and not something you really want to happen. All of us human beings do that at some time or the other.Unlike some mahapurush on this forum who starts issuing fatwas declaring poeple as non Sikhs.Ignore the fools caught up in their own haumai that they are the most perfect Sikhs ever.

You must have been one of the brainless cheerleader who voted up the post that said a person can die because a poster was frustrated over their behavior.   Now you are doubling down by saying no need for an apology.   This forum wouldn't allow this behavior and neither does Sikhi.  Where was your compassion?  God gives life and takes it away.  You can’t even handle insults from a girl and want her to die.  Your turban is on wayyy tooooo tight.

I think that imagining the traditional way as perfect is another fallacy. There was way too much conservatism (in my personal opinion) including a complete failure to even face up to, let alone discuss subjects considered taboo - now the pendulum is swinging to the other extreme - like always happens in these situations.

I know what you mean though, I've seen ultra conservative bibis from the generation above mine now accept all manner of things with the grandchildren's lifestyle that would have guaranteed a beating or disowning in my time.....lol Not that I'm talking about the stuff we are seeing in the videos above though.

I see traditional and conservative as two different things. My family is traditional but I wouldn't say we are conservative.

Conservative kids end up becoming rebellious.

Traditional kids necessarily don't.

Traditional families still practice tradition, but are quite open about other things but keep it within traditional boundaries. Like if I told my mum I'm dating someone, she would be fine with that, but at the same time I know the boundaries and limits and at the same time I would be expected to marry the same female I am seeing, which is fair enough ...

Conservative families on the other hand are something else! I think the more "othrodox" religious families fall under this category.  I personally can't live with these kind of people. These kids become really rebellious when they have their first feel of freedom.

Traditional families and conservative are quite different ...

But like I said both types are fast on the decline,  liberalism and westernized ways have taken over and become the norm.

But I guess it's just the natural "evolution" of immigrants in foreign lands ...

It happens with all immigrant groups ...

Religion and tradition start disappearing and the immigrant population starts assimilating into the host country/culture.

My sister started working in a new place around 3 weeks ago and she said she's struggling to find punjabis to hang out with because majority of the Punjabi females that work there are British born middle aged ladies in their 40s and 50s and their all p1ss heads! Their all divorced and they openly brag on about going out on the weekends and getting drunk and they take their daughters with them! They openly talk about having casual relationships. So my sister said she just hangs out with the Somalians!

I'm fine with that! I'm not controlling, but I rather her hang out with somalians than middle aged degraded Pubjabi p1ss heads.
