They did, and everyone fell for it. Bait and trap with some in-house betrayal on the side.

Akalis and Congress both were at it, once they realized how they can use him for political gain.  Akalis used him to get back at congress and congress used him to get back at the akalis.

Worst thing is that even your common punjabi started falling for all the propaganda.

I've come to realise that a prime sign of the average Punjabi's ghulam mindset is their willingness to swallow this propaganda. The victims of the anti-Sikh action I don't judge, because they've experienced horrors and lost loved ones; not every Sikh is a figurative fighter or has that steely mentality, so in that sense I cut them slack. But the average mouthy, uninformed Punjabi who chats cr4p about those Sikhs who dared to stand up and be counted, just does my head in.

Not sure if you know but yesterday there was a lot of angry Hindus on Twitter. A Ex Muslim Armin Nawabi uploaded inappropriate images of Kali Mata in s3xual positions and winking etc  Hindus in return are doing their usual thing and sending him threats and insulting the guys mother etc. The guy is Iranian and had uploaded a photo of his mothers appearance before and after the Iranian islamic revolution and Hindus have photoshopped his mothers face onto porn actresses etc.

Most Christian channels and ex muslims have a big % of Hindu followers and fan boys. A lot of these Christian channels and ex Muslims upload cartoons of muhammed and the Hindus love it, but now an ex Muslim has uploaded inappropriate images of Kali Mata the same Hindus are angry, Mohammed Hijab has tweeted about this hypocrisy as well.

My point is, Sikhs should stay out of all of this, because we have a lot of portraits of our Gurus and other saints and female figures and people do a lot of sick stuff to religious images to offend people.

Watching the videos is fine and reading tweets etc, but if you start writing comments then things might turn nasty, like this whole Kali mata incident. At the end of the day atheists are atheists, just coz they are criticising Islam or Christianity that doesnt mean they wont start on Sikhi, and you obviously don't want that.

Majority of the comments under these videos are normally 100s of Hindu comments and Christian's but I do see the odd Sikh persons comments aswell.

They make really interesting videos, but just saying ...    Sikhs shouldn't get too involved in those kinds of things, or atleast not make their presence felt, because things can turn really nasty like what's happening right now.

Kali is a demoness who drinks blood. Basically she’s the female satan. I’m not sure why the Muslim guy did that though, very weird.

A lot of people Iv spoken to in Punjab have that view, that he was a congress agent, you just give up explaining because they are so convinced and fixed on the idea that he was a agent and kharkoos were thieves and all that rubbish.

It makes it easier for the conscience to dismiss something rather than confront the idea that, "Something is definitely wrong here."

What's muddied the waters is the Indian forces posing as Sikhs to defame them AND, if we're being completely honest, SOME opportunist Singhs who settled personal scores under the guise of the kharkoo lehar. I think that kind of double and triple dealing is too much for the average Punjabi mind to process, so they resort to the mainstream gov't narrative in order to make sense of all of it.

Thing is the propaganda in India is so strong and heavy. If you switch the Hindi news channels on and even ptc they actually bark at the viewer! And there are 100s and 100s of these channels in India and they really hammer their views into the peoples heads!

And like you said the fact that even singhs themselves sided with the governments, including policemen dressed as kharkoos, just confused everyone. The state was really successful in convincing the masses that sikhs themselves are committing crimes against sikhs.

Indian government is really good at these games, their actually pros.

A part of Bollywood actress Kangna Raunats houses was ordered to be demolished by Hindu Jihadists Shiv Sena.

This lady criticised Indian police and in return peace loving hindu jihadists decides to park a crane out side her house to demolish it.

If this can happen to well known millionaires in that country then what hope does your average street sweeper, peasant or maid have in that country?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
