Thick kara or small kara.

Some years back, I bought a kara with mantra written on the kara from Nankana Sahab, Pakistan. I want to know whether this kara the small one is real or fake. And is it made of steel? Should i wear small or the big thick kara. ?

How about no Kara, unless you are a Sikh and have the orher 4 K's, its not some fashion accessory.
