It has considerable bearing on the outlook and ethos of the state (not the city as I stated earlier), and what the ruling government of that state feels it can impose on the people. It can't be ignored. We'll come to learn this lesson in the UK in the coming years.

I got to say MisterSingh, you seem to vacillate a lot about this. One minute you sound like you think they are the salt of the earth and then the other you say stuff like the above.

Whilst I can understand the NHS support when things looked and felt insane in the early covid days.  It's things like the dhol thing that makes us look like buffoons.

You DID clap, didn't you? I knew it! ?

The funny thing is that Sikh family weren't pendus. The dad works in the council. Mum's a tutor. Kids are well-spoken. But the Prime Minister says people should applaud the Health Service, and we get the dhol out. It's mental.

I'm unsure where the threat will come from. I assumed a right-wing uprising was the obvious way, but the last few years have me wondering whether my visions of oppression at the hands of jack-booted racists are inaccurate based on the direction of Western culture. I'm wondering whether it'll be rainbow-flag waving apparatchiks instead. The events of the last 18 months have me erring towards the latter.

I didn't. But still understand the sentiment.

Yeah Australia cares a lot more about corona than any other country other than New Zealand. It's because we don't have thousands of new cases a day (NSW is approaching that benchmark) so they're trying to controll the few that we have.

Us Victorians are into lockdown 6.0

That list of infringements on your freedom make corona look like nothing.

I would literally huff covid before ever allowing that list of nazi protocols be imposed on myself.

It is getting annoying now. Gurdwaras are closed. I was looking forward to a ransbahi last weekend but 12 cases of corona ruined it. Annoying that the id1ot Prime Minister we have hasn't ordered enough vaccines cause it's 'not a race' to get everyone vaccinated. It's literally our only hope to get out of this. And then then there's New Zealand going on a 3 day lockdown cause of 1 case....

It's not a sprint to defeat covid it's a marathon to erode rights, move money, and impose new order in my opinion.

OnlyFans porn ban a 'kick in the teeth' for creators

The subscription site has announced it will block sexually explicit photos and videos from October - although some nude content will still be allowed.

Tezza Williams, 22, from Birmingham, started making explicit OnlyFans content with his boyfriend earlier this summer, to repay financial debts he'd racked up.

This month he says he made about £4,000 from the site.

He has another job outside of sex work, but worries for his friends in the industry who don't have a regular income to fall back on.

"If you're not allowed to post really explicit content it's going to be a massive kick in the teeth," he tells Newsbeat.

"There's this massive stigma on sex workers that just should not be a thing.

"We're doing it from the comfort of our own bedrooms, it's given us a living - it could be getting people off drugs, off the streets.

"[Making porn] is helping people and they still want to put bans on it, and [that's] disgusting."
