However, all that is going to happen is less people wanting to join the police.

More crime and people will be crying for the police.

You ever tried to call the police and measure the response time? they might as well not exist bro. Let alone follow up? No point. 

Maybe if cops didn't have literally the reputation of being "the filth" in this country more people would want to be cops.

Here's what real policing looks like. Que it up next to the George Floyd footage and compare and contrast. This thai cop makes some fraction of the money cops do here. And faces every same risk.
