A little knowledge about reality around you goes a long LONG way my dear little sister. Now....none of us know for sure coz none of them know either of them personally but a little knowledge tells us that relationships between Sikh men and Ahamadiya girls is fairly common - That both Sikhs and Ahamadyias have sizeable communties in the Maidenhead area - That Ahmadiyas are rejected as non-muslim by Muslims and so no Muslim will ever marry one of them and that the Ahamadiya religion, which was born in Gurdaspur in Punjab and consider Gurdaspur to be their holy land, have a saintly respect for Sri Guru nNanak dev ji, whom they call Baba Nanak.

Add all this 'knowledge' about things together and you come to the understanding that this girl is probably an Ahmadiya in which case this fella is marrying a non-muslim pure Punjaban who doesn't drink, smoke or wear revealing clothing. If they love each other....than good on 'em.

Islam and the Quran state that women are inferior and can be beaten by men.

Hence why so many Muslim background women are marrying non-Muslims and leaving Islam in the West to avoid the domestic violence and subjugation commonplace when marrying a Muslim man.
