Yeah.

See them all the time mate.

Occasianally with give them a few rupees, as much I have at that time cause I feel really bad for them.

I got photo saved on my laptop and look at it once in a while.

The worst i saw in Punjab was in Nawanshahr Bazaar, it was an elderly man dragging himself on the floor with a bowl in one hand and half of his face was missing, i saw his skull, eye socket and teeth area of his skull, half of his face was just missing. I'm never gnna forget that.

It is sad but one of my cousins over there told me if you offer them a job they will refuse it and prefer to beg, there's more money in it.

That depends, like those gadiyan wale that beg, they make a lot of money! but people that you see sleeping on road sides are different.

No i have no idea what happened to him, but I had never seen a human in that condition before. The last time i went India we were traveling to Hazur Sahib on train and the train stopped at some station in Maharastra and I saw a very malnourished dying man on the platform laying on his side, he was naked and his thigh was as thin as my wrist. I was like 2 meters away from him. Your head just goes blank when you see something like that, you just freeze, and there's shock. But everyone was just walking past him minding their own business. You just don't know how to take it all in. During the rest of the train journey i just had him in my head. I doubt it he made it another day, but he was still breathing.

Another thing which I don't like over there is the treatment of animals, i just hate that. While in Punjab waiting for the bus I saw a donkey with its eyes covered with those leather caps, a wooden cart attached to him and he was just standing there on the side of the road absolutely emotionless and still, pin drop silent. Waiting for the next load to be piled onto the cart. What kind of life is that for a animal? How long was it just standing there, 1 hour? 3 hours?  5 hours?  i went over to it and stroked its face, everyone driving past probably thought i was stupid. It was just standing there as still as anything.

I really don't like the misery you see in India.
