no! a suicider is not a shaheed ...however this was a murder so yes he was a shaheed. People who know his handwriting have denounced this 'suicide note'  non sikhs may be fooled but we are not so lily-livered to not face up to difficulties , remember Baba ji was the one giving farmers honsla to fight for their rights rather than kill themselves , so why would he kill himself ? try to be logical

Sorry i know there are 2 sides to the story. I don’t know which to believe.

Those closest to him will know his mindset prior to his death. I am not familiar with the deceased. Is suicide by gunshot something a Sant would do? Willingly laying down one's life in certain situations can't be compared to straight-up suicide, surely? Or is this farming situation so unique that someone of that status would feel this is something that needs to be done, and is justified in a Gurmat sense?

One thing I will say is that this unfortunate occurrence might be used to muddy the waters and distract from the main objective. What we'll see is those claiming murder while others will argue it wasn't. The focus on this issue will detract from the overall discussion on the farming problem. Those claiming murder might be incited into taking rash action, which is exactly what the Indians want in order to defame the protests.

They do that publically though. You don't just find burnt monks with notes explaining they did it cause china.

Yes, that's what I was getting at. The manner in which the act is carried out is as important as the statement behind the act itself.

Saints who are very much one with Vaheguru have full awareness of the coming and going. Baba Ram Singh Ji was one of those great saints. It wasnt murder nor suicide.

If your response is limited and understanding is short sighted then you wont be able to explain the actions of such a person.
