There are many examples of sikhs who have done hunger strikes till death, self immolated for the rights of the sikh nation.

That references both self immolation and hunger striking which are both classic forms of protest. I'd say that falls short of an answer.

From the web translation I was able to assess the note superficially for authenticity and it fails 100%. That note is fake according to the writings of experts in that field. 

One it confuses, egoistic and altruistic suicide. Two it shows marks of being written by someone fictionalizing their suicide not prepared to enact it, it has no instructions for their post mortem affairs. Which is a classic mistake made in forgeries. And that is just a surface glance at the document. 

The wording also falls into the overly abstract not personal enough category.

Was watching Sikh channel a few weeks back and she was at Sultanpur Lodhi putting saropas around people and some of them were touching her feet.
