Which world are you living in bro? You want a girl who will do seva of your parents? Like, massage their legs, cook food for them... Hahaha... bro. You made me laugh. My stomach is hurting.

I applaud and admire your viewpoint, but this is JUST NOT possible in 2021. Even a pure Gursikh girl will be 1 in a million who would do this. Now a days girls don't like to do seva of in-laws. Society has changed a lot. People want freedom. Manmukhi mind has taken over, even in Amritdhar community. So good luck.

By percentages you might be right. At the same time some people are trying to live timelessly as an extended family still, and if that's what Veer Ji needs, and it's important to him he has to put that out there from the beginning. There might be a Bhenji in his same situation with her parents.

Its important to put this right infront before marriage. I have seen lots of divorces, marriage problems bcoz the girl does not want to live with the parents and dont want to do seva of in-laws such as leg massages, cooking food, laundry etc and more.

If you ask a white girl to do that, you would get punched in the face. If you ask an Indian, get prepared to hear a lot of name callings. Times have changed now. Its rare, very rare. Girls frown on guys like that.

But it takes both sides. Some times in-laws can be horrible.

For many years and even now in-laws were horrible:

1) Dowry collection.

2) Think of daughter-in-law (noh) as naukraani (Kuma karanwali).. servant.

3) Neve allow noh (daughter-in-law) visit her parents.

Then time flipped.

Now noh, hits back at in-laws, abuses and disrespects them.

The OP wants an ideal sati-varta, dharam-varta, pati-varta, parents-varta wife. To have this kind of wife, he himself should also be of a very high spiritual calibre. .... LOL.  You cannot be junk and expect a gursikh wife of a very very high calibre. I can safely it is almost impossible to have a wife like that. From experience every man dreams of an ideal wife before marriage, after marriage they realize that -that dream was just a fantasy, far from reality. Then you learn to adjust and live with your wife. LOL

Doing sewa of your in-laws comes with love, doing sewa of your own parents also comes with love. Many sons/daughters these days don't do sewa of their own parents because there is no love.

To this day, there still are females who treat their in-laws just how they treat their own parents, doting around, doing things for them. Same with the guys. I've seen many.

It all comes down to love, that mutual feeling.

But it takes both sides. Some times in-laws can be horrible.

Nice thoughts, cant disagree. Someone down voted your post. I can imagine what type that person might be LOL

To the OP, The kind of wife you want can be found in Pakistan or Afghanistan.

Have these girls had their fun with non-Amritdharis in their youth, and have now begrudgingly accepted the need to settle down with a Singh? ?

Quote

"Who hurt you?" Is a uniquely gross Redditism.

renderTimingPixel.pngIt's one of those things where the more you think about it, the worse it gets.

It's a cheap attempt to insult and put someone down. That on its own isn't much.

The type of insult is uniquely, hatefully Reddit, though: "Haha someone must have traumatized you in some way. That is hilarious. You should shut up because I called that out and I am very funny."

If you use that, I must ask: Who failed to raise you well? Who failed to teach you right from wrong?

I appreciate the irony of using a post from Reddit to discredit a very Reddit-esque mentality. ?

What other explanation is there for your incredibly low regard for these ladies?
