Why do Sikhs keep a traditional look by keeping Hair and Beard?

There is not just one reason why we keep our Kesh but many imo. I would give different answers depending on the person who I am talking to. For an atheist, I would give a more scientific answer as compared to a Sikh, because they may not understand Gurbani to the fullest extent. It's important to be able to explain your beliefs and ways of thinking to others that way you don't get swayed by their arguments and reasoning. Along with this, they can respect your choices and understand your point of view.
