Meeting between Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji & Lord Chaitaniya

Can some one provide details, insights on this meeting?

This meeting happened when Guru Nanak Sahib Ji Maharaj went to Jagannathh puri (where he then composed Aarti).

They both met (as religious leaders do), had respect for each other and did kirtan together. 

Now, whilst in Sikh books we don't have mention of the meeting itself, it has been recorded in the history of the "Hare Krishanas" (as they're commonly known), where they mention that a saint by the name of "Nanak" and his disciple who was a bard (referring to Bhai Mardana Ji) met with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

That site says “According to Padmabhushan Dr. Durgadas Basu, a National Research Professor, Guru Nanak was given mantra diksha by non other than Prabhu Nityananda while the latter was traveling through Bangladesh (Bengal). That Sri Nanak was a ‘mantra shishya’ of Nityananda Prabhu has been written down in his autobiography and the last chapter of the Guru Grantha Sahib, while elaborating the greatness and glory of the Holy ‘Naam’.”

This is NOT true.

Plus the article indicates that Sikhi is more a form krishna bhakti.

Our Gurus met with and influenced many religious leaders. Lord Chaitanya of Bengal was one of them. Our historians should do more research on this important event in history. Another great incident is that of Guru Hargobind Sahib ji who met with Samarth Ramdas the Guru of the Maratha king Shivaji while in Kashmir. Guru ji taught Samarth Ramdas about picking up arms in defence of Dharm. I read some where that the Rajput Raja who helped Shivaji escape Mughal captivity was a Shardaloo of Guru Tegh Bahadur sahib ji. 

I really wish our historians would shed more light on these events

Intact, I believe that later on, Baba Sri Chand Ji Maharaj also met with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Ji.
