The reality of Deep Sidhu is that his great grandfather was actively involved in the freedom movement against the British.  It also known that he spent time in prison with Bhagat Singh.  His grandfather was imprisoned during the Punjabi Suba movement.  His father and Chacha were both lawyers and fought cases for 80’s Kharkus.  
 

Whatever you may have read or heard about him, he has a solid background.  Lakha and Deep are good guys and if it wasn’t for them the morcha would have been abandoned long ago.  The comrades who are controlling the stage are gutless as well threatened by the youth activists.  There is a power struggle going on and the government agencies are creating a divide and trying the best to tarnish the Deep and Lakha. Don’t fall for the ‘BS’ that is thrown about!

Well said. We either have a comrade bias on here or some very naive sangat. I'm shocked how easily our own can get brainwashed by social media. I think the video below sums up things up well

 

Giani Hapreet Singh (Akal Takhat Jathedar) also gave his verdict on the situation recently which explained things that are going on. I'll try and find again.

I personally think Deep Sidhu and other populatist personalities may not be an agent of the indian establishment but is a useful guy thats been manipulated and groomed by those advising him to do certain things that have negatively impacted the situations he was involved in. The whole laal killa thing is suspicious no one has yet provided answers who decided to go there and what were they trying to achieve? We know there's nothing to be achieved going there politically so what and who lead the whole thing? Deep sidhu says he got there much later into the protest at the red fort. Futhermore putting Sikh flags on laal killa is not a bad thing. We like seeing it and its the right of the Sikhs to have their flags on red fort aswell as hindus as they are part of the indian nation that liberated it from colonial british rule.

There are many accelerationalists on all kinda of political extreme's and groups that want to push things towards violence while siting back comfortably and watching the drama. These people are the real puppet masters and real agents of manipulation that want to divert the farmer kisaan protests into something else so that legitimate demands that all or most people can support are pushed into something that only certain groups support.

Photos of Deep Sidhu with Sunny Deol and BJP leaders is nothing new or too alarming to jump to any conclusions.  If yo follow politics you would would know that after ‘Vinod Khanna’ passed the seat for Gurdaspur became vacant.  BJP needed a new candidate and Gurdaspur always did well with a celebrity political candidate so Sunny Deol was offered the ticket.  Deep Sidhu being a close personal friend of the Deols at the time helped Sunny Deol for his election campaign.  The photos with Modi and Amit Shah were obviously going to surface as it was part of the campaign. Had Sunny Deol been given a Congress ticket then photos would have had Captain Amrinder, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. 
These Photos wouldn’t even exist if Sunny Deol was not given the BJP ticket.  

Having a hard time trying to understand how you can disregard the opinion of a Saheed's Family. But are OK with someone who is actively meeting and planning with the most ANTI SIKH force in India politics. Yeah lets be fine with someone who is OK with the BJP and their history of trying to eliminate sikhi.

You see, that is the crucial detail you've got wrong. He isn't affiliated or actively meeting anyone. Those pics you posted are from before the last elections. He hasn't denied them. The deols no longer associate them him, infact sunny deol has tweeted twice about it. Some of the guys maligning his father are associates of sumedh saini ( i'm not referring to bibi khalra, btw).

We have to stand up for people who stand with the panth. If we let guys like deep sidhu get hounded, maligned, and sacrificed so union leaders can gloss over their leadership failure, then we won't get anyone standing up like he did.

This is a really good podcast and we have to thankful that we now live in an age of social media and Sikh media which allows to know what is happening on the ground in India within minutes rather than relying on ignorant mainstream and biased Indian media. If we did not have these then we would only have the government narrative and the Kisan leaders narrative and not the naujawan narrative.

Don't get mad at me. I didn't force you to cut your hair and renounce Sikhi. You did that on your own.

Don't hate on sikh men / women who cut their hair. 

Remember that which you discard will be picked by the enemy as a tool, they will utilise the frustration and angst in monehs mind against you. 

I say this while not downplaying the importance of sikhi saroop . I know of many haircut men in my family who have raised their sons as sardars. I think some ppl are just not sardar material but still they're useful In something else surely. It's like fingers discarding the ear because they're not part of hand, not knowing that they're part of something bigger
