We all want this but the focus should have been on the Akalis esp badal and son who have misused the panth for their own politics. If Giani Harpreet Singh or previous Jathedars couldn't do anything about these two, what chance do they have against a mammoth organisation like the RSS? Or military titan like the Indian Army?

The authority bestowed on the Akal Takht isn't for debate, it isn't being utilised..  

We are under attack already, how much weaker do we want to get before regrouping?

Guru sahabian sanctioned alot of things that Sikhs are not implementing these days, carrying weapons is also mandatory to fight tyranny and oppressors but in today's world anyone who does is easily labeled a terrorist even if he fighting the overwhelming overt terrorism of the powerful state. Also there is a reason Akal takht hasn't created a force already.

You got to remember the last time this was tried was in 1980s and the akal takht was attacked and destroyed the indian regime blamed it for darbar sahib having "anti-nationals" so called "khalistani's" sheltering there. The chess pieces were put in place so that akal takht would be attacked no matter who was there, they just needed their useful pawns in place.

1840s was the last time the Khalsa were an effective fighting force and the british invaders attacked the akal takht to silence and subdue Sikh political and military force for once and for all.

Sri Akal takht sahib the sovereign sikh parliament and political voice of the Sikhs, was the real target in 1984 this is why thatchers and indira's governments colluded that time. It was not to get sant bhindranwale or other armed defenders of darbar sahib, exactly because of this reason it was attacked with tanks and destroyed rather than block it off and just have regular police bring a seige to end issue peacefully. The operation blue star attack was to send a message to the Sikh community worldwide that RSS hindu extremists within Indian establishment controls everything within its borders including Sikh religious and political institutions. Anyone daring to setup outside its authority or question hindu castist supreme authority would get dealt with by genocide and indian state terrorism. Therefore creating such a force even for defence and protection would in all probability invite an indian state terrorist attack from new delhi along with huge propaganda campaign against Sikhs in india is being naive at best.

The hindus have their religious protection forces such as RSS along with offshoot groups like kranti sena, ram sena, shiv sena, bajrang dal, bheem sena, etc. Who can easily have access to modern arms via the indian army and police. Also they have their members embed in these institutions so they have all the advantage against minorities.

Creating such a Sikh defence force will need to be thought through very carefully and get political backing from the western governments and within punjab. This will require intelligent lobbying by high IQ well respected Sikh leaders basing it on facts of how indian state terrorism has effected Sikhs since 1947 and currently they are not being protected by institutions of the state in a so called democracy.

It's not our country, bro. Their leaders don't recognise our Guru Sahibs as an authority. The Akal Takhat is not a Vatican-esque state within a country. You know that.

Bhai Jagraj Singh Ji was right that all of hindustan should become Sikh. Referencing it here not to create Khalistan, but it's what hindustan should do out of self interest. 

They want to be the world power? Getting into the game late, and emulating the shits that already run the world is just going to secure hindustan's legacy as third tier <banned word filter activated>. 

Apply mass Gursikhi and Gurmat to India? What and who could stop them and who would even want to? They want to say Sikhi evolved from "hinduism" ...okay...evolve then...

Finally someone proposing a solution.

To everybody else, why would the government of India openly clamp down on a higly trained relief group living and breathing gurmat? The primary purpose would be to support in relief efforts (a la Khalsa Aid) therefore win support of masses where they attend - they would feed the hungry enmasse.

Some of u have assumed I've proposed an army.  There was no mention of automated weapons, or warfare, a presence of volunteers strategically protecting protesers doesn't mean combat.... the government have used baracades to keep protesters in, why wouldn't we covertly suggest to protesers how best to keep themselves least exposed.

Open armed combat will mean only onething, alienation and bloodshed for Sikhs. What im suggesting is smarter.

Yes its maybe a be a pipe dream... but you have to have a goal to begin with,  40%-50% realisation of the pipe dream is better then diddly squat.

 

Call it fantasy if u want... rss rule and israel was also a pipedream... c'mon chill on the negativity and sell the dream... its all im suggesting... 

 

Push the petition and raise awareness of the dream, or don't.... other than a bit of ridicule what have u to lose?

your petition is not a bad idea don't think anyone is ridiculing your efforts, just letting you know of their views of the historical and current political backdrop of the state of affairs of why it may not be a viable idea.

But you have my support in that petition and I'm sure most Sikhs on the forum and worldwide wish to see this as a reality too.

You're thinking, you're formulating ideas, and trying to wrap your head around this frankly complex issue. Nobody's knocking you at all. Don't even take it as criticism; it's just some elaborations from slightly older heads (calm down, I'm still in my 30s ). We need thinkers such as yourself, not only infantry.
