Thoughts / Opinions on the Future of Western Countries

I think that these cultural issues are a big distraction designed to obscure the much more serious economic issues. In most Western countries, the gap between the rich and poor has been steadily growing. Average people have seen their quality of life go down. Yet, instead of holding to account those responsible, or attempting to change the system that has led to the current state of affairs, most average people end up scapegoating others.

No offense (I know many posters here are from the UK), but I think that the UK in particular is in the beginning stages of a steady and prolonged decline. Brits are very delusional about their place in the world. They seem to have been too frequently fed the myth that they "stood alone" against the rest of the world in WW2 and won the war. And they don't seem to have gotten the memo that the days of empire ended long ago. Brexit has set the UK on a path to irrelevance.

Based on what I have seen, the UK has a combination of most of bad characteristics of the US and continental Europe. And it doesn't have enough of the good aspects of either the US or continental Europe.

Once you get out of Central London, it is surprising how run-down, dilapidated and depressing the UK is. It's shocking how much poverty there is. Having said that, I think the UK is still an okay place for the Sikh community (since there are many neighborhoods with large Sikh populations and gurdwaras).

I know we've butt heads, or I've been a butthead, but it's nice to see you posting again Veer Ji. I was thinking about you a short while back and was hoping for your input into some of these topics.

most white people of west seem to be comfortable in their lives , due to past colonial loots as well as a decent infrastructure in country which allows them to live a higher standard of living . The aspirations which drove UK to become colonial powerhouse however seems lost and is now residing with China/Russia  and to an extent India .

West has had its day. Nothing to feel sorry for them. Don't forget how much they have ruined us . Britishers are one big reason of why we're in the mess we find ourselves in . I am not trying to rub the responsibilities off the sikh qaum's shoulders, but we did what we could have , we established SGPC , we did singh sabha , but when it came to political arm, the britishers in connivance with gandhi-nehru stabbed us in the arm.

What they get is purely their karma. Remember west was established by killing native red indians of americas , and native pagan europeans to establish a christian-white nations

What karma bit us in the chittar when we were living in jungles? What karma did we deserve when the British and later Hindus were butchering us on the streets of Amritsar and Delhi respectively; or filling in shallow graves of Sikh bodies in Punjabi villages? Are there two tiers of karma now? One for whites that punishes their misdeeds and one for angelic Sikhs?

I'm trying to get beyond this level of thinking. While aspects are valid, it's not going to really help understand the practical problems at hand. You're stuck in the stage of wanting to see whitey burn. I want to learn whether there's something else going on a human level.

In UK - with the high impact of interracial relationship I can see the gora race go very, very dim.

I think this might be a strategy to try and absorb ethnics in, over a few generations. Some tried it before in Australia.

Also they aren't dumb. They want a wider gene pool too - it has advantages over excessive inbreeding. And they'll use the people they've converted (and mixed race people) as role models to 'preach' to the rest of us 'savages'. lol

Examples of wider gene pool for ‘them’?

do you mean mixed race people less likely to have own cultural identity ? So easier to manipulate by media?

I would have thought drugs companies would want inbreeding as it more likely creates genetic defects

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
