Sikh Veterans should train the Khalsa and every Singh and Kaur on combat, so we don't need to sell our bodies to the Indian Military.

This is just one good example or initiative which can be replicated by Armed Forces & Police all over the globe.

Khalsa Youth should opt for this type of training & career.

Government's too should give preference to them.

Nothing wrong in fusion of traditional & modern lifestyle.

sikh youths of both sexes need to learn:
brazilian jujitsu- gives grappling skills, blocking,locks

boxing- learn to move and deliver blows fast

muay thai- learn to build strong leg base , mental strength to cope with pain , learn to deliver crippling kicks knees to opponent, sweep them off feet.

Kali/escrima: to learn effective kirpan /hand to hand  techniques .

Kali/escrima is good for hand to hand but for kirpan not as much since there is a curve

surely would need tweaking but it gives close hand to hand techniques you cannot deny it would be a good skill set , besides Guru ji used Pesh Kabaz instead of curved short kirpan as personal arm .

We also need to remove fake blades from inventory, stainless steel is meant for display, nowadays you need to get a battle ready sword or blade usually made with different types of high carbon steel. (as in there’s 1060 high carbon steel, 1095 etc, you can watch youtubers like skallagrim to learn more about swords.)
