I am responding to the twitter impression. 

That twitter impression was talking about how Kaurs were being forced to have children and thought of as baby making machines. Who is forcing them to have children? We Sikhs have one of lowest birth rates. We are in  demographical decline.

That tweet uses every label to discredit the male under the sun.  Heternormative  (basically means being  straight), toxic masculinity  (basically anything related to being male is bad ). Then she uses the term "white". In this case, what have white people got to do with Sikh women being baby making machines. This Kaur has a problem with Sikh men.

The problem is that this is the dominant ideology, it is everywhere in the media. And do you know what happens with this ideology. Everybody turns on each other.

Even the white people are starting to play the victim narrative. Everyone is oppressed. If everything one is oppressed who is doing the oppressing?

KaurRepublic is a complete <banned word filter activated>. Her arguments make no sense. How is encouraging people to have more children the same thing as "forcing" people? Did that guy say anything suggesting that women should be forced to have more children? How is anyone "demanding" anything? That guy was highlighting a problem in our community and urging people who agree with him to maybe (if they want to) consider doing something about it.

 

Anyway, while I agree with critiques that you (and others) make about the feminist/identity politics crowd, you don't do yourself any favors by adopting far-right terminology (like "cultural marxism"). The far-right are no friends to Sikhs.

Just because I call out Cultural Marxism does not mean that I support Far Right Wing.

This is what people don't get, people on the left who are the real liberals are calling out the Cultural Marxists.

By "Europe" I presume you mean "the UK."

From what I can tell, Sikhs in continental Europe have it even worse than Sikhs in the US.

 

Sikhs in the US suffer from being a tiny, sparsely distributed minority in a massive country with 330 million people.

Having said that, I think it has actually made American Sikhs more in touch with what a difficult position Sikhs are in. Sikhs in the UK and Canada often mistakenly think that we have a lot more power and influence in the world than we actually do.

For example, consider how Sikhs are only slightly outnumbered by Hindus in the UK. That has left some British Sikhs a bit clueless about our struggles in India because they can't conceive of the fact that Sikhs are outnumbered by Hindus in India by a ratio of 46 to 1.
