Guest hope, I feel you. I really feel so connected to India. I have only been to India once and I really love India. I want to migrate there when I am older. I love India because there are so so so many itihaasik places and I would love to know more about our sikh history by visiting places.

I am 51, how old are you?  You are right, it’s our Sikh ithias, our Sikh heritage and our people that we miss so much. We want to migrate   there so we can visit our ithiasic spiritual places and stay there for days and days, doing sewa, naam Simran and eating langar. We want to go there to soak up the atmosphere so to speak. We want to wear bana and speak in Punjabi all the time, to the exclusion of everything else. Lead a very straightforward simple life.

Which western country you based at? I think it's a very bad idea. If you have no money there you will be ill treated and oppressed by almost everyone. I don't recommend sleeping outdoors under any tree as it is highly unsafe for women and many unsavory characters that are drunk or high on drugs prowl the countryside looking for easy targets. At your age there's the serious risk of developing diseases etc.

As an alternative you could immerse yourself in Gurbani,Keertan,Katha,Simran in the comfort and safety of your home or the nearest Gurdwara.

Let’s say I am a citizen of the world after having lived and worked in many different countries except India, we have lost that innate feeling of belonging somewhere normal fortunate people have. We have both reached a stage where we are looking into very simple back to basics and no fuss life. Do you think it would be better if we bought a small house or flat there in rural settings near a community of local organic farmers? At the moment we are waiting for Covid regulations to relax before we book out airline tickets. Our aim is to buy something small near the above mentioned community and travel everywhere visiting our ithiasic gurdwaras and staying there as long as we can, even if it means we have to sleep on the grounds of these gurdwaras under their luscious green trees or verandas. We honestly can’t wait to try it out.  We are both Amritdharies and it would ever so nice to meet and interact with others on the same path. Who knows, we might even end up making lots of life long friends who only speak of spirituality or spiritual matters and nothing else. Can’t wait.

Test or try out before going permanent !

Singh Ji Singh Ji, we would like to work in those places that you have mentioned on very little pay or even without it, as long as we can travel to all the places in India that are part of our Sikh heritage to educate ourselves of who we are and where we originate from. Thanks for your help. Again, the idea is to live our lives in very rural, simple, back to to basics life with no mod cons to depend on and no unwanted distractions from anywhere.

I'm turning 16 this march. Last year during march I was blessed to have darshan of India for the first time ever in my life. Ever since that, I really wish maharaj brings me back there. Whatever you said is literally what I hope maharaj does kirpa for.

ManpreetKaurr Ji, you are still young so I suggest that you finish your education first and achieve your ambitions as to your chosen trade or profession that interests you. Make sure you don’t forget your dreams, dreams of returning back to the land where your ancestors and Sikhi originated from. It’s is vital for us to visit our countries where our language, culture and spirituality took birth. Even if we have to lead very simple lives with nothing much our happiness and joy comes first. If returning to the land we identify with and it makes us happy then this should be our top priority and nothing should stop us. The question is when? Check out the following link here, it’s amazing what can be achieved.

Don't you like India? Our goal at there is to attach ourselves with Naam, bani, sewa. Yes of course we can do it at home to but I feel the vibration of bhagti in India is much stronger. And there's so many itihaasik Gurdwara. No, you can't get disease like maharaj said

ਸਰਬ ਰੋਗ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਰਹਤ ।।

Such a devotee of Lord is free from all diseases.

Your age doesnt limit what you do. Think positive come on ✨
