Do not need to go to India for this. 

plenty of beautiful and cheap opportunities here in western world. 

- Buy dozen acres of rural land, mountain side
- Go off-grid - Solar, Propane/gas, Fireplace 

India is polluted - air, water, land etc.

How will you support yourself over there? Food, shelter, etc?

If you've gown up in any western country, then you will be incompatible with India. It's nice to visit like a tourist; pampered by relatives, having Darshan of Dharmic Asthaans, with a safe and secure lifestyle to head back to once you've had your fill. But if you want to prolong your stay, be very very cautious (especially if your are young, female, or non-Indian).

Other than that, life is a great teacher. You can go there and try living out your fantasy.

I agree, I used to think I could live there but in my most recent two visits I realised I could not.

Okay yes, it's not like I'm running there now and leaving my home and going there only myself. Yes it can be dangerous if I don't have any guardian with me but hey I'm not doing that now.  Yes but I would definitely love to stay in India for maybe a month when maharaj bless me. I will finish my studies and work because who's gonna pay for my ticket? I have to pay it myself. Many of you are not really understanding me here.

So much of negativity, yes we know it's polluted but it's not like we gonna die there once we step in there. I bet your country has a bit of pollution too. I am not a western world type of girl.

Thanks for your help. Again, the idea is to live our lives in very rural, simple, back to to basics life with no mod cons to depend on and no unwanted distractions from anywhere.
