Cannabis comes in 2 forms: hemp and marijuana  Both these forms r a gift of God. Shaheedi degh is the best medicine in the world.

hemp doesn't get u high and is a wonder plant that can give u food, clothing and house. marijuana gets u high and can cure any disease known to man including cancer. shaheedi degh is made us

Could you elaborate what bimaari is that you are trying to medicate?  Also can you reference where it is written that hemp and marijuana are a ‘gift from god’. I’d also like to ask if the benefit

You should rephrase your heading and conduct research regarding Alcohol/Cannabis vs Milk/Water?  The findings would better illustrate the benefits of day to day life between people who use and do not use.

Cannabis Facilitates Compromise

By calming emotion, promoting self-reflection, and enhancing gentleness, cannabis promotes forgiveness and compromise, and thereby can aid powerfully in the resolution of a wide array of disputes, from lovers quarrels to business matters to political disagreements. Science may not yet have begun to study this one, but the ability of cannabis to promote forgiveness is a regular topic at on-line cannabis related discussion forums.
Human health and wellness are not mechanical matters. We are not machines, we are not purely physical beings. We have souls, and those souls must be nurtured. Raising our children, resolving our disputes, writing our poems and singing our songs: these things too are a part of wellness.

Cannabis Facilitates a Deeper Connection Between Parents and Children

By enhancing our patience, and sense of play and wonder, cannabis can enable parents to connect more closely with their children. Dr. Marian Fry, in a survey of California clinicians who provide cannabis approvals, reported that cannabis-using parents saw an “enhanced flexibility and an ability to identify the child’s needs as those of a separate and unique individual. . . . Patients say cannabis makes them less self-centered and egocentric…” . Dr. Fry’s comments are echoed in a recent article by a cannabis using mother on Babble.com, a web site for mothers. The article generated 72 comments—mostly from other moms, and overwhelmingly favorable.

I once read a book (forgot which one) that said that bhang helps with keeping away hunger which is why it may have been used in war, along with treating injuries. Then over time it became common to use in small amounts and by Britisher times, it was used in excess.

Personally I wouldn't want to use bhang to help my Simran.

The marijuana fish wine consumer is referencing a specific tradition of person.

Not anyone who properly uses Sukha.

The second references no longer needing it.

Nothing in Gurbani is against Sukha. It's ground into the floors of Gurudwaras and the Gurus had Degh Sevadars. Anyone with a problem with Sukha have white folks in their brains. Which is why they're alcoholics usually.

Is it used properly though? Many people (not all) become dependent on it.

True, but I also haven't seen anything that supports it either.

I see Sukha doing the exact opposite. Offering a lifeline to addicts getting out of addiction.

You can take it or leave it. If you don't like just don't use it.

The science is undeniable and more importantly it's place within Gursikhi is undeniable.

The reefer madness comes from the war on drugs, both of them, and the destructive nature of wasp imperialism.

If those people within and related to the Paanth, if choosing to use anything, had chosen Sukha instead of alcohol, tobacco, opium, and every other drug known to man all these years, the greater Sikh family would have been saved imeasurable yelling, fighting, stealing, beating, broken family type illness that comes with those destructive toxic drugs.

Sukha is a safety net. It's a medicine. It's non toxic. It's non addictive.

Anyone truly concerned with drug addiction and drugs would never or hardly mention Sukh. They'd be too busy actively fighting the menace of alcohol, inhalents, pharmaceuticals, opiods, cocaine, crack, pcp, meth, designer drugs, bath salts, alcohol again, then alcohol..

The only way Sukha can even function as a gateway drug is when society lies to everybody and says Sukha is at all like these other drugs. Then the young person tries it and knows they were absolutely lied to. And if society lied about Sukha then did they lie about the other stuff? Let's find out. Uh oh, instantly addicted <banned word filter activated>.

Alcohol and ignorance are the gateway drugs.

Sukha however should never be confused with Naam. It is no substitute for Naam. It is not a precursor for Naam. It cannot take the place of Naam. Let there be no confusion between Naam and Sukha. Let there be no confusion between Sukha and the maker of all Sukha Vaheguru Akal Purakh.

Let's however be truthful about Sukha. And mind our own Rehit and nobody elses.

There is absolutely a reason it is situated as it is within Sikhi. If it's not for you, it's not for you.

Is it a spiritual aid, though, or a hallucinogenic aid that induces a false religious exaltation? It's not a secret that non-Sikh westerners have used various substances to induce rapturous experiences that they claim are glimpses of the Divine. My point: is it the Sikhi that causes the experience or the drugs?

It's the Sikhi bro. You can't Sukha your way to Sach Akand.

Let's not confuse Sukha with hard core hallucinagens either.

Everywhere the fork tongued imperial goes he maligns Sukha and brings alcohol.
