Pronunciation of Chhachha / CHH / sha /PH /Fa

Yeah same, my parents and I don't say "chhote" as smaller, but we say "shhotte"   

I can pronounce it as "chhote" but it feels unnatural lol 

Same with the other two. 

I think it depends on which dialect of Punjabi you speak in.

Same feels so unnatural too..but i'v been saying it repeatedly, then later when i test myself still manage to say 'Ssh'...but getting used to saying' chh' However what feels wrong is 'Chhatt' - Roof...'Shhatt sounds right not Chhatt..

Idk about dialect, because when you say 'CHH' you're  bringing your tounge top of the palate and lot more breathe then SHH. my mum is firm its always been 'sha' ...listening to Paath, some audio sounds like 'Chh' others 'sha'

What about Phapha and Fafa.......most Phapha i hear pronounce as 'fafa'..like 

Phal - (Fruit( always said Fhaul and Phull (Flower) - as Fhull

The difference between the first ch and second chh is that the second one is what we call 'aspirated'. This just means that air travels through your throat in the second one, whilst it doesn't in the first. 

Say the word 'chips' (note how the focus of the mouth is in the front area)

Now say 'church'  note how you clearly have air forcefully traveling through your throat area to pronounce this. 

That's the difference.
