All of this stuff happens in Sydney, where there's a lot more hindu sikh beef. Not many people have heard of this here in Northern Melbourne, it's really friendly here between hindus and sikhs in the open public. My gujrati mates were telling me how their parents are obsessed with modi and love him. But no one's done anything in public yet.

how come hindus r more cocky and aggressive in sydney? r there more of them there then apneh n i heard lotta them r haryana ppl is this true

In Canada the Hindutva/elite hindu type have spread their tentacles through key players in media and think tanks like Fraser Institute and MacDonald-Laurier Institute. These two think tanks have published various commentaries over the years to discredit and malign Sikhs.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that lisping lunatic Ron Bannerjee was also on the modi payroll.

Regarding Sydney, I believe this is a continuation of the Haryanavi Jaat/Ror and Sikh rivalry that was boiling since last summer. We have to remember these Haryanavis view themselves as the musclemen of India at the moment; they have over-inflated egos currently, thanks to the Hindutva surge.

I feel these Tiranga Rally's are testing the waters for future retaliation against us. Each time we protest at an Indian embassy, they will target our Gurdwaras. Absurd logic. I don’t know if they’re trying to egg us on into targeting their mandirs….but it very could be their game plan to instigate us.

We have all seen how sensitive the Indian establishment is about their image from the twitter sh$% show. It’s our image they want to target. Once they can prove to western minds that turbaned sikhs are violent….then their next steps at home are easier to execute.

We need to give a measured response to their provocation. See the game in its entirety.

They wouldn't dare try it in the UK. They're mostly middle-class, fat, studious types who'd get wrecked in a physical encounter with Sikhs. Sure, they chat 5hit on radio and TV, kvetching like Jews do, spreading propaganda, but I'd like to see them try it in front of a Gurdwara.

they were going to do the same in  front of Gravesend Gurdwara later this month.

Could be because they've been there for longer. Sydney in a way is half a generation above melbourne, they've been living there for longer.

I think the difference in these Hindus are that  they are from Haryana.

How many Haryanvis does one encounter outside of India.

The bulk of the Hindus in the west seem to be HPs,  Gujjus and Tamils.

The Tamils are mainly from Sri Lanka though.

But don't the haryavni dislike modi. Cause they're against the bill as well. The haryanvis in our area that I've met come as decent people that don't like modi.
