I read this and thought it was another Punjabi singer with a similar-ish name and much more famous!

But, had quick read of the link and I don't see any proof/evidence he's done anything wrong.

But he hasn't denied the allegations either!

Well the txt messages are proof that he was sleeping with other women in India.

He's quite an unstable man, so I wouldn't be surprised if he reacted with force after his wife posted the text messages on his social media for all his fans to read!

I think his wife did the right thing by posting the messages on his social media, don't think anyone would have believed her otherwise.

Okay, just seen his apology. If he has done wrong then can understand the wife being unhappy/angry

BUT, re the alleged domestic violence, it might not be true

It would be a good chance if he really is in the dumps, for someone (whose into Sikhi) to reach out to him and help him change his life maybe

Remember this guy? Juggy D. He's apparently been arrested for domestic violence.

He was in Delhi partying and sleeping with women. When he was back in London his wife went through his phone and read the messages, decided to post them on his social media and he then started beating her up.

I'm not surprised he always was a bit of a loose cannon. I remember a few years back he was in rehab for drugs, and when he came out everyone was quite supportive.

I know he's a mona and not a practicing Sikh but these days every other person is committing adultery, and it is destructive, I don't understand why people even bother getting married these days? considering he's been married for 11 years, his kids are obviously still in primary school, this will scar them for life.

Seems like a lot of women were being passed around, involving some other Punjabi singers like Guru Randawa? Not surprising at all, Its part of the package when you are in showbiz and the entertainment industry, not sure why women marry these men

They would much rather marry monay who engage in such activities than singhs who lead a decent lifestyle.

I have no idea where to start to explain how completely and utterly wrong (and disrespectful to woman who suffer domestic abuse) this comment is, domestic abuse/violence has nothing to do with being  "monay" or a "singh", It has to do with the person and asserting control over someone else. I know of at least 2 Amritdhari "singhs" in my wife's extended family that hit their wives, one was arrested for it.

If you think that once you become a "singh" you do no wrong you might want to take a seat and have an objective look at the world, we're all human, taking the path of the Guru is just that, a path, it doesn't make you perfect.

1. First of all, I said "singhs who lead a decent lifestyle." A "singh" who commits domestic violence (or is abusive in any other way) does not lead a decent lifestyle.

2. I was commenting on someone else's comment where they wondered why women marry men in the entertainment industry who are known to be unfaithful. If you are so triggered by me using "singhs who lead a decent lifestyle" as a contrast to such men, then please just accept the following more general point: human being have a tendency to be attracted to power/money/fame/glamour/physical attraction and value those things over modesty/decency/piety. That's why you see a lot of people end up with partners who don't treat them well. At some point, they probably had a choice where they could have gone with someone who treated them better, but the person who would have treated them better was not attractive enough to them.

I think we both are leading to the same conclusion, just worded and expressed differently.

I don't necessarily agree with the fact that there is any particular pattern to women ending up with partners who treat them badly (i.e. fame, money, good looking etc.), sure, it's a factor but not all the time. In a lot of relationships things become about control, when that escalates it can sometimes become abusive, for men a lot of the time it's about controlling the narrative the wife believes, if he's having an affair or up to no good he will control the narrative so his wife is only party to things that he want's her to see and hear, even places he want's her to go, in the case of Juggy D his wife found out and it all escalated but then she knew about his old habits anyway and chose to believe he changed.
