4 Sikhs shot dead in America

Recommended Posts

The veterens that do mass shootings are different. You have to put those in their own category.

On base injustice. Retaliation.

Mental health, drugs, alcoholism combined with ptsd from doing and seeing bad things. Especially prominent in us soldiers since fighting in the middle east and especially afghanistan where the terrain borders and and IEDs leave one in a permanent terror state.

Then you have Chris Dorner types who stand on their own merit of justice and ideology.

But the mass of the mass shootings are totally young white males. And some muslim acts. But less of those.

So apparently, the shooter bought the gun legally even though he was 19 because the state allows you to buy at 18. Federal law says that an individual has to be 21 so there is a confusing overlap I think. Also there was a red flag law that was in place that should have taken his gun away because he was unstable but for some reason, it wasn't enforced. It is still being investigated if he got gun from a private buyer or not...

A lot of the left wants to enforce background checks, making it harder to get guns

The majority of the right says that the background checks and the process of buying a gun is secure enough

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Well. You kill more people with a bread truck unfortunately.

Sorry, but please list some examples of "sjw woke liberal college students" who have perpetrated mass shootings.

The fact is, most of the mass shootings are either carried out by people from radical Islamic backgrounds, or by angry young white men who have mental health issues (and are usually right-wing MAGA types who blame immigrants/minorities for all of their problems, including their inability to get laid).

waheguru ji there are examples of both

but yeah, white young mentally challenged male is usually the factor in these instances, and often they are sjw and many a times MAGA crackheads lol

I have said before, mental health plays a big part in this

the shastar is there, but the person's dimaagi santulant is the x factor often

colorado I believe had plenty of regulations dems wanted, but the boulder shooting occured nonetheless unfortunately

there is no count of rapes, abuses, murders/homicides prevented with weapons

and evidently more people are killed with blunt objects, and in the urban hoods where all these regulations are in place, crime is super high and people are often too regulated to access a gun when living in such dangerous places

I am currently too young to buy one so I have no firsthand experience, but those that own firearms usually quote a long process sometimes, so I wouldn't quite say getting a gun is that easy either but I think most common sense folks can agree background checks are important (which are in place) even though these rules don't apply in some states when a employer or landlord wants to check the criminal record of their tenant or employee lol

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
