interesting topic

but I wonder what gurmukh jeevani sikhs did before this synthetic innovation

A diet of herbs, non starchy veg, meat or other high protein low carb, butter and chz. Tree syrups. Honey. Diabetics lived to breed since forever. I think they just ate way better, and lived way better which both prevents and treats the condition.

Blessing we can synthesize insulin now though. When I researched how insulin was made I was surprised to find it was harvested from pigs for decades.

Insulin is one of the few actual accomplishments of "modern medicine".

Okay children. I didn't suggest anyone eat meat. Somebody asked how people survived diabetes before insulin. If you're medically ignorant of how diet effects hypo and hyper glycemia fine.  If you want to downvote, then explain or ask.

The fact this comment, and the inocuous one that originally followed, have been taken down then one put back up, show that something rediculous is going on.

I assume it's because I mentioned meat. But then again I don't know...because nobody uses their words just clicks the spread negativity button and run off. Sikhawareness has the votes transparent and we should too.

For the record I recommend a vegetarian diet, leaning towards the vegan side.

I should be able to answer somebody's non Sikhi question accurately though without the freak out. That's academically very weak and ignorant.

What's with the ninja mod on comments too? There was nothing offensive about the follow up post.
