She Told Relatives She’d Been Raped. They Paraded Her and the Suspect.

Videos of the girl and her alleged attacker as violent crowds shamed and beat her created outrage in India.

The distraught teenager told family members that their neighbor had pushed her to the floor, stuffed a cloth in her mouth and raped her. The relatives, with a number of villagers, found the man she had accused and beat him.

Then, declaring that the 16-year-old girl had brought shame to the family, the group tied the girl to the suspect with a rope and paraded them through fields and markets in a village in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Some spectators kicked, punched and spat on her.

Videos of the shaming this past Sunday circulated widely on social media, triggering a nationwide outcry over one of the most distressing aspects of India’s rampant problem with sexual violence: victim blaming.

16 year old girl was raped by her neighbour, she told her family and they decided to parade her and the suspect around the village. Paraded her around with a rope while people spat at her and beat her. Her family felt she had brought shame onto the family by getting raped.

The gut wrenching thing is that such horrific graphic rape incidents is so 'normalised' in India, it doesn't even faze majority, and the occasion it does make headlines and when it does it either for dirty politics.

In UP which is under Yogi, hindu radical, is the worst. Fews weeks back read article young girl being raped and left to ditches, and police were 'ordered' to make sure the family stays silent.

They're depraved animals. That country is beyond repair, it actually is too late to repair that country. 

Hindu society and culture (India) is just as bad as Muslim society and culture, yet the irony is Hindus complain about Muslim culture, which is why the bjp was created, to tackle Muslims, when they are basically the same! 

All that corruption and perversion is going to lead to catastrophic karmic consequences. Perhaps another horde of invaders.

Every year they show India no1 worst place for women to be. Its tops the worst on pretty much everything, Democracy, freedom, human rights...

Muslim countries are way more sophisticated then India, despite being theological Islamic. Like Gulf states, Iran, You'd be safe as women living in Dubai, Saudi than in India! At least you can count on Sharia law to hang the rapists then you trust India's Juridical system. They end up being PMs, (obs being sarcastic but you know what i mean)

The irony is in West, Indians are the most educated and wealthiest out here. They dominate in all sectors academically, economics, medicine, silicon valley is dominated by brahmins. 

There is a video i just saw an bjp mp giving cows urine to covid patient who is oxgyen support. You cant take them seriously anymore.

There's videos of them throwing their kids into heaps of cow dung for good luck, in one case the kid started gagging on the dung so the parent had to step in a save the kid.

Hindus in the west are a success story, perhaps one of the best examples, but their counterparts in India still live in the 15th century.
