the freakish floods across Europe and the heatwave 'bowl' in Canada seems to indicate the disruption of the jetstream plus the increase in tornados in uk... it's lovely out innit.

just completing the likely scenario  when you got home , I know my Mum would've chewed me out for wrecking my trainers. Have you seen the videos coming out of Dharamshala , they don't have streets they have rivers because of the screwy temperatures causing failure of the glacial capture of moisture . Last reversal of poles took more than few decades and created so much turmoil , but it will be much worse as we have grown too reliant on computer tech in daily activities and not built in reserves to cover such failures

Back in my day there was worse than that! 

People with dogs didn't pick up the tutti like they do now. Koota shyte was all over the pavements. If you got a new pair of trainers - it was almost guaranteed that you'd step into some, and then spend 15 minutes looking for patches of grass to wipe that sh1t off with (which never came off fully). lol! 

Plus dogs wondering around in gangs because people would just let them out on the streets like they were cats.....
