How To Take Amrit

Waheguru Ji Ki Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I'm a teenager and I want to take Amrit. Do I have to wait for the gurdwara to hold a Amrit Sanchar or can I ask them to have an Amrit Sanchar for myself? How does taking Amrit work at the Gurdwara?

I'd say the frequency with which they occur in your area probably will determine if waiting or asking is appropriate. 

Combined with any pressing time contraint you may be under which hopefully you aren't. Like health.

Let your gurdwara know you’d like to receive amrit to find out when the next one could be. They might arrange one sooner once they know someone is now ready for it

No you must wait. I believe it's Anandpur Sahib?? where Amrit Sanchaar is held twice a week. If yer in UK then twice a year, both time nearing Nagar Keertan (Vaisakhi and Guru Nanak's Gurpurb).
