Rape culture is synonymous with so called western culture. It's a huge problem anywhere women are vulnerable and disenfranchised. It happens in our work places with alarming regulaity and our military has a huge problem with our male soldiers raping and sexually harassing female soldiers and if these females report they are retaliated against as the SARC office is run by the rapists friends. When polled? Number one fear of female soldiers going on deployment? Being raped by our own guys.

A soldier has been jailed for over five years after taking a woman back to his barracks and raping her while she slept.

Lance Corporal Aidan Hackett, 27, met the woman in a nightclub in Oxford in June 2019 and they travelled in a taxi back to his room at St David's Barracks in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

The victim, also aged in her twenties, told Hackett she did not want to have sex but just listen to music together.

She fell asleep and awoke to find her clothes had been removed by Hackett.

Family doctor, 45, who bombarded female colleague with 215 'sexually motivated' WhatsApp messages while her husband was away on business is suspended from job for six months

  • Dr Mazhar Khan, from Langley, sent 'sexually motivated' messages to colleague
  • Previously suspended for cuddling patient and rubbing himself against her
  • Found guilty of sexually motivated misconduct and suspended for six months

A GP who sent 'sexually motivated' WhatsApp messages to a colleague has been suspended for six months.

Dr Mazhar Khan, 45, bombarded the female colleague, known only as Mrs A, with 215 flirtatious messages whilst her husband of two months was away on business in 2019.

The messages included the disgraced doctor, who began working at Chapel Medical Centre in Slough in 2018, telling his colleague she was 'stunning' and 'drop dead gorgeous', while another read: 'Dreamt about you last night.'

He maintained he did not want or foresee, a sexual relationship with Mrs A but confessed: 'I admit it should have stopped much earlier. I was very pushy. Perhaps I hoped one day she would like me.'

The hearing was told in 2014, Khan was suspended from practise for 12 months after he obtained a patient's mobile phone number from surgery records and arranged to meet at her home whilst he was working at Danes Camp Medical Centre in Northampton.

During the encounter in 2012 he bought alcohol for the woman, kissed and touched her body and rubbed himself against her as she sat on a couch.

He was allowed back to unrestricted practise the following year after telling how he had delivered a lecture to senior doctors about maintaining professional boundaries.

The GP's lawyer Charles Foster said: 'Whilst Dr Khan accepts the gravity of his misconduct, the Tribunal should look at the bigger picture. While it may be concerned by the previous misconduct that involved a very different set of circumstances, including sexual contact with a patient.

'This was jokey, romantic and sexualised messaging to a colleague. Mrs A came across as a poised professional who had the confidence to respond to Dr Khan's advances.'

MPTS chairman Mike Hayward said: 'Whilst the Tribunal accepted there is a risk of repetition, it considered that risk could be managed once Dr Khan has had the opportunity to demonstrate further insight into his sexual misconduct and remediate his behaviour.'

Khan is expected to return to work again pending a review next year. The General Medicial Council had called for Khan to be struck off.

Robbie Moore, MP for Keighley and Ilkley, has been calling on the council to set up an inquiry, similar to the one led by Professor Alexis Jay in Rotherham in 2014, and during a debate on Tuesday evening several Tory MPs backed his campaign.

Home Office Minister Rachel Maclean said councils are responsible for ordering local inquiries and they have a “moral responsibility to do the right thing” and protect innocent children.

Funny they don't want to investigate, can't be that they are worried some friends and family are involved

Those refusing should resign immediately and replaced by non partisan members chosen from the public at large.

No police were sacked over child grooming scandal: Officers avoided serious sanction over failures that let down victims of Rotherham gangs

  • Operation Linden probed 47 South Yorkshire Police officers after 44 white girls were abused between 1997 and 2013
  • No officer has been fired for the mistakes made resulting in the scandal
  • Only five officers received sanctions up to a final written warning from the IOPC

Not a single police officer has been sacked over widespread failures that let down victims of Asian grooming gangs in Rotherham, it was revealed yesterday.

A report by the Independent Office for Police Conduct said urgent action was needed to deal with problems that ‘still exist’ in handling child sex abuse cases.

Operation Linden probed 47 South Yorkshire Police officers after 44 white girls were abused between 1997 and 2013.

Seven men were found guilty of grooming and abusing young girls in Rotherham over a seven year period

Many officers exploited a loophole that meant if they resigned or retired they could not face disciplinary proceedings.

The IOPC said eight officers had a case to answer for misconduct and six for gross misconduct.

Five received sanctions up to a final written warning, which one campaigner branded ‘just a slap on the hand’.

Tim Forber, South Yorkshire’s deputy chief constable, said the force ‘fully accepted’ the report’s findings.

Isaac Mabwa, 33, has been jailed for nine years and placed on the sex offenders register (Met Police)

A man who posed as a taxi driver before a kidnapping a young woman in central London and attempting to sexually assault her has been jailed.

On 8 May 2017, Isaac Mabwa, 33, was driving a hire car when he came across the woman walking on Euston Road, central London in the early hours of the morning and offered her a lift home. The victim believed he was driving a taxi or minicab and got in the car.

The 25-year-old quickly realised something was wrong when Mr Mabwa drove the opposite direction from her home.

Over the next 90 minutes, she attempted to flee the car several times but the driver stopped her from doing so. The victim then messaged her boyfriend and a friend with her location.

Once Mr Mabwa stopped the car in an unlit carpark, the young woman began screaming and was heard by passers-by.

A short while later, Mr Mabwa was detained by officers and subsequently charged in April 2020 after a lengthy investigation.

Mr Mabwa was sentenced to nine years’ imprisonment at Wood Green Crown Court on Monday 29 November and also placed on the sex offenders register for life.

He was previously found guilty of kidnap, false imprisonment and committing an offence with intent to comment a sexual offence.

A devious sexual predator raped a total stranger as she tried to get home after a night out in the Gay Village.

Sajjad Sultan, 26, had only been out of prison for 11 days before he attacked the woman, aged in her 20s.

She had become separated from friends before Sultan, who had been hanging around Canal Street, pretended to be friendly to her.

He put her arm round her and walked with her as she went to a taxi rank.

Suddenly Sultan attacked her from behind in a dark canal towpath.

She has been left traumatised by the horrendous ordeal, and has made multiple attempts to end her own life.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
