Dude was clearly a mental case who even warned the authorities about himself. They're to blame as much as he is. He should have been in a padded room. 

People don't like their tax dollars helping people, just blowing them up or punishing them.

Hmm, there is already a significant disproportionately high Muslim population in UK prisons. Should we be spending more on them ?

Yes. And not treating their mental illness and releasing them to stab people does nothing to address your problem. 

My point is if your tax dollars are going to be used, which they are, why not shift some of those funds to treating the mentally ill ones. And it's worth every penny no matter where you keep someone if it prevents them stabbing people which they made clear they would. 

Even if you want to just incarcerate people you can't be stingy and release them. You have to keep them incarcerated. That's like saving a few dollars by cutting off the electricity to the plant. It defeats the whole purpose.

It's not a mental illness. It's their ideology that is to blame. Otherwise how can 25% of the Muslim prison population be deemed to be mentally ill without going to the source of the problem. And this is worldwide.

Well whoever enters the system should be evaluated, and however many of these guys fail the test to be able to differentiate between innocent civilians and whoever a legitimate person to reeist or confront is, then keep em locked up. I mean brittain already has to decide how long to keep certain people incarcerated and where for how much money and to what end result. I don't have any ponies in that race really. Other than to say it's clearly worth the money not to release that guy.
