I was listening to a BBC interview with a Talibani spokesman a few days ago. He was throwing in words like "inclusivity", "diversity", and all these other contemporary progressive buzzwords, and I'm mentally applauding the guy and whoever designed their current media profile, because they know how completely feminised and weak the West has become, and these Talibanis have adopted the vernacular of Western media to push ISLAMISM! The balls on them, lmao. Fair play. Use the progressive West's bakwaas against them. Genius.

You have to give it to them. They held on for 2 decades against the 'cream' of the west. In terms of tenacity, commitment and perseverance. Just shows as well, you can train your pet monkeys for 20 years and have them crumble at the crucial point. 

I don't think the talivban ever had any respect for british soldiers fighting ability anyway.

Long-term (over the course of the next 20 years), I think the West will deliberately let them regain total control of their country using the oppressive form of Islam the Taliban obviously want to enact. Then we'll begin to get news of human rights abuses, crimes against women and minority religions, etc. Propaganda bombardment. Then there might be some terrorist attacks in the West claimed by Taliban forces or Afghan refugee settlers sore about the West destroying their country since 2001. Whether the U.S. decides to keep Afghanistan as a place to halt Russian activities is unclear. The place might figure in the Greater Israel project, and if so would need to be glassed with Syria and Iran. It all depends at what pace the Zionists want to enact their final plan. Ultimately, Afghanistan is gone for any semblance of a settled, peaceful, and normal existence. It's a chess piece that will be moved and fought over by power players.
