Yep. 

Bhai ji, you should read that Jagjit Singh book I posted, it actually goes into why original Singhs fought so stubbornly, compared to later ones.

They're spent decades fighting every world power. Nobody does an occupation followed by recovery, over and over, like the taliban. They are unique in that way. Nobody else on the planet has their exact experience or expertise. 

I don't think they have any inherent virtue per se, they're just bread from the survivors of 100 years of war.

I used to get some real reactions from american military personnel. Sitting around rednecking it up, talking their ish, then you remind their fat uneducated posterior that taliban are born into asymetrical warfare, training harder, living harder, shooting more, wanting it more. Love or hate whoever, call them an emeny I guess, but don't be caught sleeping on the fortitudes of said enemy. Americans think they're born something they're not. Most of our soldiers can barely soldier with the entire weight of the us military behind them. You want to be the best? Then train hard to be the best, and be the best. Seriously glad I didn't wind up in a ground war relying on weak, high fructose syrup fed, stress fracture having, call of duty playing, weak ignorant man childs posing as soldiers. 

The us military is 99 percent dead weight and 1 percent super soldiers. The taliban is he opposite. 

Do I support the taliban in any way? Heck no. Half of me wants to go to afghanistan and tend a Gurudwara, start a scalp collection. They are however not to be underestimated. We should all study the tactics of the taliban and viet cong.

They've stayed patient and won more than once, more than one twenty year set. They've held out at least four times now, for like 20 years a piece. They're indominatable bro. 

What nature didn't require of them the world paid and trained them in. 

Their entire population are like ninja. Straight up doing what they want under drone coverage and satelites. One minute it's all villagers, then all of a sudden there are several dozen armed fighters, then boom nothing but farmers again. 

Our soldiers complain about their use of qanats. They just retreat to water sources and caves. You can't find them, and when you do its savagery, and then they just poof back into innocent farmers. 

Then the occupying force pays the supposed non taliban in cash and weapons, to help police these "insurgents", and the locals just hand it over to the rest of the taliban.

Don't get too disheartened. As difficult as it may be to process and appreciate the political and shadow political games in that part of the world, we should remember that certain factions of world power REQUIRE a Taliban to continue the fight. These things are rarely ever straight fights despite the news media portrayals. Strategic retreats, strategic attacks, etc. It's not a case of Sikhs not being good enough or lacking determination (which IS a factor but not the entire picture). It's just that there's no third party who has anything considerable to gain from OUR agitation. 

Case in point: 

Or maybe Allah is the true God, and he blesses his Mujahedeen with victory because they fight for a noble cause? Allahuakbar!!!!

I think a return to relative peace is what did it. Had the aggressions not ceased, had there been no illusion of peace, Kharkus would have continued until there were no Kharkus or would continue in the shadows.
