Idk to stop the promotion of caste system, and turn these jatts to singhs or something like that.

The simple answer is to not listen to those songs. But Hindus are not Singhs to begin with.

What about discouraging the production of the stupid songs in the first place?

Market is what dictates. If you try to ban certain types of music all that happens is that it gets pushed underground. 

Don't buy, revenue goes down and the singers find other things to sing about.

I don't listen to bhangra but it seems that centre of gravity has shifted from the UK to Punjab and Canada. 

I could care less what people to listen to, you can't stop them.
