Hmm but I understand this, and it still doesn't go away

It is not the understanding part but it is in the doing.

You must understand that it is a process. It does not disappear immediately, it is something you work on daily so that it starts to reduce.

My personal thief that I have a bug bear is Krodh.

It is something that I am trying to deal with but it is through Bani, Ardaas, Naam which through Maharaj's kirpa helps me find ways to deal with Krodh.

It is through Maharaj's Kirpa which makes me think "Aah, I see where I am going wrong Guru Ji, let's try it this way"

You have to train your mindset. Think of the vice as a challenge that needs to solved and challenged and overcome.

Haumeh ceases to be when we realise that everything is in the hands of the creator…

Haumeh ceases to be when we realise that everyone and everything is like a puppet on a string…

Haumeh ceases to be when we realise that we are all actors in a movie…we just act out the part that the director instructs us to play out…

Haumeh ceases to be when we realise that the creator is the director…and the everything is the director’s stage…

This is something I have come to realise more and more.

Sometimes I will be doing naam simran in the car on the way to work and you see people walking by going to work/ school going about their business.

And in my head I think of the Truman Show (the film with Jim Carey) and I think of the creator having a remote control in his hand where he can stop/Start/play.

It was then I realised that I am not really Ranjeet but someone that is playing the part of Ranjeet.
