I'm sorry but I have doubts because nidar is involved as 'hero' accuser? and also if this happened in uk every kid is drummed into reporting such things to childline, police etc from age 6 onwards so  are these kids too stupid to avail themselves of legal and proper means of reporting . plenty girls seem able to report groomers without mummy daddy same should be true of all kids.

After having read through various reports and things since yesterday, the biggest mark or doubt against this issue is the involvement of the Kaur Movement. 

I would never ignore or downplay allegations of this nature, but from what I've read since yesterday, that particular aforementioned organisation doesn't inspire confidence.

Generally, it doesn't negate how many of these NRI Sikh personalities are jostling for some sort of prominence and status. It's strange how much of the Panthic scene away from the faux-spiritually serene act played out for the gullible sangat is full of calculating and ruthless people. Ultimately, try and conceal it as much as you'd like, but our innate Punjabi-ness can never be overridden. 

Stay away from ALL of these orgs and personalities. If you possess even the faintest glimmer of reflective consciousness, these people will eventually lead you to hate the very thing you love.

Most people don't report sexual abuse. Look at how much historic grooming cases turned up when the lid was lifted slightly.

This reluctance is even more pronounced in conservative cultures when they can affect how victims are perceived and jeopardise marriage proposals. 

For male accusers it's even more complicated, as plenty of males wouldn't show any empathy for them, seeing them as having put themselves in that position; even laughing at them. Blokes can be like that.

domestics sexual all kinds of abuse within families or other environments esp for kids , DO NOT report hence and when they do most cases are found without proof

Yes, the shame and guilt for male victims is more pronounced, because of what you've said above; the idea that a male (even a male child!) should've "fought off" the sicko, and because he couldn't overpower him, the male is gay or he wanted it, or something equally as nonsensical. Just my theory, but there's probably an internationally huge mass of young male victims of abuse who keep it all to themselves out of sharam, which is arguably a contributor to the high male suicide rates and the rest of it.

This topic made me reflect over many decades, and thinking about it, the abuse of males hasn't been uncommon to varying degrees. Growing up like I did, I was always a bit on the wary side for some reason (call it being streetwise and not trusting - probably am even more so now), but on thinking about it, there's been a lot of attempts at grooming males that I'm aware of. For feral kids like I was, it was just another one of those dangers you had to duck and dive around. With Guru ji's kirpaa I was spared the kind of stuff we are reading about or maneuvered around it. But yes, I think it's infinitely more common than it seems on the surface. I had a lecturer on a psychology course I did many many years ago (Scottish fellow named Stuart Millar) who was/is a renown expert on this stuff, as well as child development. He told me a lot of stuff that I found hard to believe back then about how prevalent it is. I now know what he was saying was bang on point, it's just society (and me) wasn't ready to hear it back then.

This is a sickening subject that fills one with revulsion. If I ever pluck up the stomach, maybe I'll share my perspective and experiences on this. For now I'll just say that boys needs bros. We talk a lot about female peer bonding, but not about male. A vulnerable male(whether through personality, family issues or straight innocence), who is looking for this sense of brotherhood/friendship, is ripe for abuse, and as we all know (or should by now!) predators naturally hone in to this.

At least we are at a place where we can discuss it now, and have forums/technology that can reach masses. It's another battle to fight.

He's a predator and an abuser. The case of him breaking the jaw of my friend as part of the "punj pyare " is well known. I also know the bhenji who's husband helped one of Sukhas sexual abuse victims. 

Benti to Sukhas defenders/fanboys: if you still wish to associate with Sukha, fine, go for it. But for the love of God I beg of you, keep your kids away from him. Your children should not need to suffer because of your blind ignorance .

Where were all the other Sikh organisations/Gurdwara committees? No where, worse than useless, they all knew. In fact, some were involved in the cover up. It took a bibi from Canada to bring this stuff to light.

Gurdev Nihang Nidar Singh Ji was one of the only people who stood squarely behind the victim in full support. And bhenji, I hope you're not implying that we should doubt the credibility of the accusations simply because Nidar Singh Ji is supporting and helping the victim (a task which no other Sikh organisation did)?

I'm not sure how much experience you've had with abuse of any kind, but that's not how it works, especially when it comes to grooming etc. The psychological abuse in some of these cases is tremendous!

remember Harinder's accuser went to police so it is not that hard if that person is really determined to stop the perp.
