What do you guys think about Near Death Experiences?

Do you guys believe that some people actually die and then come back to life because it wasn't their time yet? My mom told me that her grandfather who was a very religious man had died . The body was wrapped in a cloth and was in their home the entire night as it was supposed to be cremated early morning. When it was morning and the body was supposed to be taken for cremation, he suddenly woke up and all the people who were sitting near his body( like friends and neighbors) got so shocked and ran away on seeing him awake. My mom's grandfather said that some singhs with white beards had come to take him somewhere and on the way they even gave him parshaad. But when they reached there they were informed that it was the wrong person and that it was the death time of another man with the same name as my moms grandfather and that they brought him back as it wasn't his time yet. Do you guys believe this could be true? I have heard people saying that when you are a deeply religious sikh who has done good in life that shaheed singhs come to take your soul when its the time of your death which is similar to my mom's grandfather's story. But then i've heard some Christians who had NDEs say they saw god and he looked like a white man with blonde hair and blue eyes lol. So what is true? Even if these people are dreaming then how come the dream is always related to death? How come they never have dreams related to other scenarios?

The person undergoing the experience sees what they want to see; the beliefs and the religious iconography they've been exposed to during their lives is constructed into a narrative by the subconscious to make sense of the experience. 

Why do you think a Christian undergoing a NDE always sees sights and images that correspond to the European biblical iconography established since the Middle Ages? Why do the occasions on which Jesus is seen during these visions does he resemble a Western European white man instead of the dusky Palestinian-looking feller he was in reality? 

Why do Hindus not see Muhammed luxuriating in Jannah? Why do Muslims from Saudi Arabia never see the blue-formed Krishna? 

Apologists say that God "rewards" the person undergoing the NDE with visions of personalities and things they're familiar with even if they're ultimately inaccurate, which also doesn't make sense because it would suggest God panders to our ignorance instead of dispelling it. I mean, I'd imagine a force that exists in the Realm of Truth as Truth itself would wish to dispel untruths, not perpetuate them as a patronising reward for a child of delicate demeanour.

One would assume that if there is a TRUE religion (because they ALL can't be true) these NDE experiences would be used by higher powers to convey an objective, non-partisan peek into the afterlife that goes beyond tribal affiliations. But you never hear of such things. So what to believe?

Our Belief creates our reality. Its true now and after we die( actually we never die since energy changes form, we are shape shifters). Due to the factor of time on earth physical manifestation takes time. Repeated thoughts and focus create reality faster. Since there is only one of us Unity consciousness. Separation is an illusion. After the process called death we first realize we are not the body, next we experience what we hold in our mind (beliefs). At some stage when mind is purged with all the acquired beliefs we proceed to mergence and experience oneness(our true nature)

I've heard of a story from katha where someone is taken by mistake then returned , they were saying they could see jamdoots

Maybe what happens around death as well as being objective, is also subjective to the beliefs that you follow

The objective fact of death is that the individual ceases living. Everything else is subjective and attributable to phenomena we don't fully understand.

Very interesting. 

Particularly with the light leaving and light coming.

Much we do not know.

Out of body experience is one common thing that is always mentioned. 

Also, it can change perspective on many things,particularly how one lives their lives.
