Atheists and Atheism

It seems that society is going towards the atheist trajectory. 

What are your feelings regarding Atheism.

It seems to be getting more aggressive these days.

Even though I do not agree with a lot of other religions, I find it quite offensive when their beliefs and believing in a supreme being is mocked by atheists. 

Am I wrong to feel this way.

This type of atheism being popularised comes from the 'top' - often highly celebrated arts figures from literature and performing arts declare themselves atheists.

In the West, it's become accepted to mock the Church (and other religions, but more cautiously) and anything associated with religion or God as 'boring'. 

However, I have not noticed it 'getting more aggressive'. 

I do think the majority of people even if not religious or atheist themselves often do respect Religion. Maybe that's to do with e.g. the Sikh 'military' history, what Jews went through, the association of Hinduism with India or what qualities they associate with Buddhism. 

Unfortunately, it's also true that a large group of people belonging to another religion give everyone else a bad name

It is govt mandated as you say. It's due to plans to use AI to control humanity and religions get in the way. My attempts to listen to mantras are regularly interrupted in various way.  As having independent thoughts and actions are deemed counter productive to the agenda. 

So we must fight against this evil.

Life is all about free will (choice). In Choosing one has an infinite experiences to pick, like billions of people no two people mind choose all same things. One chooses Atheism one experience it. Atheism (separation) is going in an opposite direction of the ultimate truth Unity conscious (Oneness). Sikhism starts with the Ultimate truth Oneness "EK Onkar'. Most atheist Near death experiences upon crossing over (death) experiences it as hell of like minded souls full of anger, hatred and every possible selfish act imaginable as the person own conscious holds, its the hell of their own creation. Some Atheist experience it as a dark void. The absence of time factor makes the darkness void unbearable on their consciousness. The cries for help get answered by light appearing through the darkness and ending their misery. Upon crossing over manifestations are instant due to absence of time factor. So choose wisely Life is an act of self responsibility.

Btw, I don't think most people are truly atheists. 

Sure, some truly believe it's all 'random' and/or 'science' but most people still believe there is a 'higher power' so they are not atheists.

I think as most people get older, they become more spiritual and less likely to be atheist

Yeah. Most of them are just trying to appear cool or are angry with God. Or have had religion spoiled for them.
