support Can Paath be done while taking a bath?

SSA. I have a question. Can we do Paath during taking a bath?

Do you mean do your Ishnan and Nitnem at the same time or do Paath on it's own while you bathe?

If u have bani memorised and u have ur kesh covered why not? I sometimes recite small banis whilst showering, its better than thinking about worldly nonsense lol

Do you think Nitnem should be done that way?

Or just any Gurbani for the joy that Gurbani brings period?

Bhai Anokh Singh Babbar was doing Rehras Sahib after his eyes were taken out and he had metal rods from his feet to his knees. 
 

The ideal Gursikh would be able to do Bhagti even in the most harshest times.

I'm all for Bhagti 24 hrs a day. What I'm saying is while showering giving proper respect and focus on accomplishing Shudh Nitnem. Not sure I used the right word there. 

Like. I've done Aikido in the shower. I've done practice sword cuts in the shower. If it was the depth of my focus in training that'd be kinda limited. Not saying I didn't do a good cut, or have a great experience, but is that the same as getting clean first, dressed in your particular attire, sitting with full focus and doing extremely focused Nitnem?

I do Simran and Kirtan in the shower all the time. Just asking the op and subsequent posters, do you mean do your Nitnem in the shower? You'd need on demand hot water.

Actually it depends on the Sikh.

Akjs believe that nitnem must be done sitting all in one go. And must be done outloud similar to during amrit sinchaar.

But thankfully I wasn't told this by the panj cuz I do my nitnem whilst driving. Not ideal but what can you do?

Of course it can. Just like Naam Jaap can be done anywhere at any time. God is All, nothing and no place is holy. Our bodies are Gods temple, we have chakras, the infinite pools of energy in our temple. You can do paath, you can talk to god, do naam simran when youre in the bath, walking, sitting etc. When you're working, you're doing seva so its naam anyway.
