Is "Sikhni" an appropriate word to refer to Sikh women?

Anyone ever heard 'Sikhraah' a derogatory term for apnay males from Panjabi sullay? Or has that one died out (for now).

I vaguely recall this term in an old rahit? If I find it, I'm goingto start putting the boot into some of you who keep mouthing off but never do their homework, like with Palit puttar Zorowar Singh.

maybe she is brought up in hindu language dominant area , plenty of apnay who take on hindi terms as Panjabi is 'backward'

I have heard 'Sikhraah' being used for Sikh men online.

My friend once heard it in the south indian gathering. They didn't know that my friend is Sikh (because of being mona). He felt very bad upon hearing of such wordings.

Indians use it too? I only heard it from Pakistanis in a derogatory manner.
