Is "Sikhni" an appropriate word to refer to Sikh women?

Zohrawar Singh Palit was only 11 years old when he attained shaheedi at Chamkaur Sahib , however sikhiwiki is giving misinformation trying to claim Ajit Singh palit  was shaheed at same place ...honestly how is this not getting noticed ?

Zorowar Singh Palit wasn't shaheed at Chamkaur, he fought his way out. He was shaheed later on at the fort of Chittor.

i have heard the word sikhra being used Sikhni i'm not sure is bad just means female Sikh or Amritdhari women?

I think Chaupa Singh rahit uses it.

I am sure sikhni and Singhni is used by puraatan sikhs.
