The real Jathedar of Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal, Jathedar Akali Baba Maan Singh Ji 96Crori along with Jathedar of Guru Nanak Dal, Jathedar Baba Maan Singh Ji. Both Dals were on the frontlines at the Morcha. It must have been over at least a 100 years since this last happened.

To my understanding, either past Jathedar or the most wise, spiritual  Gursikh is chosen by the Dal Panth. No elections or that bakwas.

Still you must give credit to dal panth. They hv discarded the election system.

I do not think there is any voting in any jathabandi except the institution such SGPC. There is always selection and then fight over the selection.

Selection and a fight are preferable. Depending on selection process fighting can be reduced. Not eliminated.

Agreee. You cant completey eradicate all dispute since their will always be a retarded one percent minority maintaining their own mukhi to put bigan in akhandta and ekta.
