He is a typical pig headed comrade. He thinks he knows more about Guru Nanak and his teachings than Bhai Jagraj Singh. This is typical comrade thinking, only they know the truth and everyone else is ignorant. They are quite happy to subvert Guru Nanak's teachings and fit the Guru into their ideology. The comrades need a face that they can bring the gullible Sikhs to vote for and he is that face. Sonia Mann was unmasked as a comrade and she is pretty much in the dustbin so the comrades are promoting this guy. I would be surprised if he also doesn't come from a family that was active in helping the police and giving information about Kharkoos just as Sonia Mann's father did.

I am really confused about it all.  Agree with commrades, they were against Sant Ji too. But Idk he seems too smart to be commrade, could be a case of faking it (playing politics but he is panthic at core)  and wants the best for Punjab. I am talking reality he seems only 'good' leader Punjab has had in long time that can bring change to Punjab.

Can anyone openly support Sant Ji and run in Punjab without any risk?

He has done immense seva for the kissans though. You can't discredit that despite his views.

A true activist is one who wants to bring change in the thinking of the people and not himself bend to their views. Sikh youth have been wearing Santji t-shirts openly in Punjab, they take a risk so does this mean that this comrade should refuse to accept Santji's photo just because it puts him  at risk. If he is so scared then imagine if he become CM (totally impossible of course) but just imagine, then Indian govt could threaten him and he will do their bidding such is his weak will.

Immense sewa, he run a medical facility from funds that the Panth and the diaspora sent him. How much of the money came from comrades? Using Panthic money he promoted his ideology. Even in his so-called Pind California he had photos solely of those these comrades claim as theirs.

I understand the sentiments but, i dont want to jump to conclusions with him yet. You dont know what he's playing at. Im sure he knows how majority Sikhs feel about India and Punjab him saying himself 'He trusts in SGGS ji' and his seva at morcha everyday you cannot dis-regard that. In his interviews he's saying non of the political parties helped with kissans it was the farm leadership.

Sonia maans is a snake apple doesn't fall far from the tree. We all know they got innocent Sikh blood in their families.

Whats your thought is Deep Sidhu then?

But when has any Punjab CM supported Sant Ji or been 'Pro Sikh' or can be and what are the chances if hypothetically Lakha became CM (Pro Khalsa)..chances of him being 'sell out'

You seen video of Navjot Sidhu this week in Panjab, congress mp saying every daughter in Panjab will inspire to be like Indra ...

Also Hindu Punjabs, christians whats chances they will EVER allow a CM who supports Sant Ji openly being elected?

@proactive

Hypothetically, what would happen to Punjab if they win the comrades...pros/cons..?

Have you seen Dr ig..he posts about Guru Jis and Nihang Singhs, Khalsa Faj, idk why he would bring Guru Nanak Dev Ji into this kaljug politics..

We need to understand how these comrades work. They are not averse to using Sikhi and the Panth to obtain power. Do not be surprised that they post images of Nihangs or Sikhs but it is what they do when they are in power that we need to be concerned about. Look anywhere where comrades have achieved power, they have impoverished these countries and well as used oppression to retain power. Communist where ever it has been in power has never improved the lives of its citizens.

These Comrades will never win power in Punjab, They might because they have latched on to the Kisan andolan win a few seats but all they will do is to cause a divide in the anti-Congress vote.

With regard to Santji, Deep Sidhu when he was interviewed by that witch Barkha Dutt could so easily have played to her tune and dismissed

Barkha Dutt is the archtype of the Urban Hindu Punjabi woman (particularly the types with the short hair and the gruff manly voice. I have these types before) that are virulently anti -Sikh but are very pro-Muslim.

They are anti-Hindu when it comes to Muslims getting beaten by Hindu mobs via retaliation but suddenly find their love for India when it comes to Sikhs.

What? Hindus in India who are 'pro-Muslim' ?!

And, I thought Dutt is a Kashmiri name

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
