Think about it slow bro. What approach will make you look the best?

It's not hard to speak out against these types of message and illustrate how inappropriate they are and just shame the people for their own behavior. 

And if you wish it's not hard to find valid arguments against islam and voice those as well. 

But the day we become like them is a day we lose. 

And I'm not saying be afraid bro nobody should have to be afraid but be aware and be careful.
