Machiavelli seems of the mind that if you must physically deal with something. Do it all at once. You can't make an example of one person, then wait, then do it again because the fearful opposition and their associates think they could be next and it's never gonna end, so it glavanizes a strong response. However.  If you clean house in one fell swoop? Stick it to everybody that needs it all at once, then once cleared you can assure survivors that due to their evil actions, those people had to go, but now the survivors are safe. Provided they don't repeat history. 

There's no half assing it though it's not a petty fued. It's all out war followed by all out peace.

I didn't undertsand the video fully. Whoever made it absolutely sucks at editing, presenting information, pretty much everything. I mean sinister undertones are obvious, but that's a really weak effort.
