A new Dasam baani that panth does not know about!

In krishan avtar of Dasam Granth Sahib, there comes Birha Natak.

There is an old Dasam Granth Sarup at Patna Sahib which is believed to be written by baba Deep Singh ji.

In this bir, at the starting of Birha Natak comes a baani called bhagwati ustat(also called bhagwati astotar). It's different from bhagauti astotar which comes at the starting of Judh parbandh section of krishan avtar of Dasam Granth Sahib.

It's also present in Dasam Granth Sarup of Bhai Daya Singh and Dasam Granth Sarup of Bhai Sukha Singh.

Giani Gurwinder Singh nangli has got this baani published in a beautiful Gutka Sahib and has also given information about this baani in his Gutka Sahib.

I believe some of these not included banis are gurbani but many are in just 1 bir that isn't really much evidence for it being gurbani. Like Bhai Banno bir has extra bani. Is it gurbani? No because it is in only one bir.

Depends on if they're written by a Guru or not. Similar thinking has kept Dasam Granth from being accepted. Definitely worth looking at. And the need to be discerning. If the additional Bani was anti Gurmat, for sure don't accept it. If it's in line with Gurmat. Worth a look. It's not for nothing that it was included, nor does that guarantee it's authenticity.

No these extra banis are not just in 1 bir. They are in more than 1 bir but yes they are in fewer birs.

Thing with Dasam Granth is that first Bhai Mani Singh around 1713 AD collected as much Dasam Bani as possible and prepared a bir.

Around 10 years later baba deep Singh ji did the same and was able to collect extra banis and prepared a much larger bir which is at present in Patna Sahib.

Bhagauti astotar and uggardanti are also in fewer birs but both are AMAZING GURBANI.

There are many Dasam birs with 32 swaiye. Some hv 33 swaiye and very few(I think just 2) hv 34 swaiye.

But both 33rd and 34th swaiyaas are Gurbani.
